Alpha

Fall 2009 Sept. 22 - Dec. 8th
Dinner served at 6:00 p.m.
Followed by video teaching and small group discussions.

- "Alpha" is a ten-week opportunity to explore the validity and relevance of the Christian faith for our lives today. It is a practical introduction to the basics of Christianity with loads of opportunity for debate and discussion.

What do you do at "Alpha"?
The evening Alpha course begins with supper, followed by a video session. We then divide into smaller groups to discuss any questions raised from the video.

Life Groups - Living In Faith and Evangelism

Each week hundreds of people gather on different days of the week and in various homes and locations around the Greater Victoria area. Small groups are a place where people can connect and belong. Each week Bible teaching facilitators lead group discussions on topics relevant to the needs and issues of everyday life.

What do you do at a "Life Group"?
The meeting takes place most often in people's homes. Life Groups begin with an interactive discussion on subjects related to everyday living followed by refreshments.

Themes include:

• Topical studies
• Biblical studies
• Addiction recovery
• Money management
• Men's/Ladies' groups
